This beautiful boy belonged to my husband who passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. I have tried to keep him and provide the exercise he needs but feel it would be best to let him go to a home that is more active. Perhaps a boy of his own? He loves to chase balls, ride in the car, play in the hose and just be with his person. He is crate trained and neutered.

He was born on 11-30-2010 and was named Trip by his breeder because of his fabulous coloring and his one blue eye, one brown eye. He gets along with other dogs, loves children but does like to chase cats. He'll back down if the cat stands its ground like 2 of his "sisters" but I have a very timid cat that takes the brunt of his playfulness. He just visited his vet in Colorado the end of September and all his shots are up to date.

We recently moved to Riverside, CA. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Please know this has been a very difficult decision for me but it's the best for this loving, active dog.

Gosh, he's a beautiful dog! I'm sorry you have to give him up and I wish you the best in finding him a great home. There are a couple of cocker rescue groups out your way - maybe they would be able to help. Look at Camp Cocker (that's the only name I can think of right now).

Thank you. I have contacted them. I would never put Trip in a shelter so I hope I can find the right home for him this way.

You could also try Second Chance Cocker Rescue, based in Santa Barbara and San Diego Spaniel Rescue.
Hope these options help and Good Luck!

Muttville in San Francisco is another good rescue. They are very successful with placing cockers. They will do a courtesy posting for you on their website.
