I do the blog for camp cocker so monitor the shelters everyday, these two just came in and honestly, I was in tears. I could not ask camp cocker to rescue them, we already have so much debt but I talked to Cathy today and if I can raise the money, we will spring them from this awful high kill shelter. I know times are tough, even 5 dollars goes a long way towards helping. I only have 4 days left before these two will be euthanized. I thank you and the cockers thank you. :hp

Doreen, it does make me cry too. The blind black male that we have in my town had such a "helmet head" his ears were literally glued to his head and his feet were the size of dinner plates. They sarcastically said he was HW- because no bugs could get through that thick "blanket of hair". I want to hold them all and give them the special attention they deserve.

It is amazing how much caring people can do for puppies that obviously nobody ever cared about, thank you everyone! I believe we cannot get them until Saturday, of course we have to give the owners time to claim them. Sad thing is that if the owners did show, which honestly has never happened with dogs looking this bad, the shelter would just hand them over again to them.

I can't help out monetarily, as I'm unemployed right now. But I can say a prayer for them (Jim, we really need a "praying" smiley).

Please post a picture of them once they're groomed - I bet they'll be gorgeous!

Made a donation for these wonderful pups. So very sad that they were allowed to get in this condition. Their sweet faces just deserve the very best. They'll feel like a million dollars when they are bathed and groomed. Hope they'll be in their forever home very soon. :hp

I added my little bit -- no going out to dinner this week. I volunteer with the Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center and every time I see this type of neglect I just want to hug the poor little ones and give them love. Give them a big cuddle from me :Rule

There's that beautiful Sky baby. Man he looks wonderful in the photo. Sky was another little guy that went through being adopted, rejected several times, went to prison to be trained and now has the momma he was waiting for. :wv
