We're updating our wills and would like suggestions on cocker rescues to include.
Since it's just us... we love our Maltese and Cockers and want to leave funds to help both. Fluffies have always brought us joy in our lives so we want to help in death.
Lawyer said we can add a codesil that can be updated since rescues can come and go or officers will change over time, so we can keep it up to date..
We have our local shelter covered and Maltese Rescues that I work with..
Thanks

Hi Michelle,

That's very nice of you. Are you particular about where the rescues are?

I know of two:

And for older cockers, oldies but goodies cocker rescue

I rescued my cocker from LDCRF (Lost Dog and Cat Foundation, Arlington, Virginia). They rescue any dog, but Cici lived there for 3 years and they took good care of her.

Just ones that really need help. There are many rescues that get lots of help so I want to help the ones that really need it. Doesn't matter where they are located.. Many of the Maltese rescues I work with have fosters all over the country and pull from shelters all over under their rescue.. I assume cocker rescues do too.

I have Oldies but goodies on my list.. I'm partial to the senior dogs :hp

Muttville in San Francisco rehomes only senior dogs, and many, many of them are cockers. In fact, sometimes all they have are cockers. They really do wonderful work and carefully match people and dogs.
