Hi everyone! Honey here...my mom loves me so much that she made me the star in her new children's picture book entitled "Just Be You." My smiling face you see in my avatar is one of the pictures in my book. First, mom dressed me up in a duck robe for the book when I was only 3 months old, took a hundred pictures (at least!) of me wearing and chewing on that stupid duck robe; then she put me on the bed upside down and rolfed my stomach till I made that silly face you see in my avatar. Just when I was getting used to all this attention, she stuffed a toy in my mouth, got on her computer and worked and worked for months and months on my book. Sometimes I could hear her laughing out loud at some of the pictures she took of me!

Now she takes me to book stores, libraries and schools to talk about my book and show me off to the kids. I should be used to it, because she takes me to work everyday with her...but I'm still pretty shy around people...EXCEPT when I go to the dog park at lunch, then I run like the wind with all the other dogs, go through the tunnel with a Border Collie named Duff, and run up and down the ramps with Finn, a Gordon Setter. I can out run all those big dogs! Seriously...I'm FAST!

Below are the end pages from my book with all my many faces (many of which are contained in the book). Lots of fun times with mom went into those pictures! Can you tell I had my baby teeth in some of the photos?

If you'd like to see more pictures of me looking goofy and having fun, check out my book at http://www.just-be-u.com.
Love, Honey

Congratulations on the book, Ann. What age children would this be suitable for? I have a couple of little nephews - 8 and 10. I might have to order one and read it myself before sending it on to the boys. I'll bet they'd get a kick out of it. The pictures sure are cute. Honey is a very good subject, isn't she.

Mary

Ann, your book looks wonderful. I'm going to get a copy for my self and I always try to get pet books to donate to my vet's office in honor of my late Molly and my little Izzy. Beautiful photos. We're so very happy to have you join us. :hello1:
