can you guys help us out?? :dk :hp we need some transport help. its a BIG leap, but I know
there are quite a few of you guys in MN & in CA and inbetween. :th-up I have an offer of a forever home for this dog...the dog is in CA But, the forever home is in MN!!! :( We NEED transport help, we are still looking into this, but for it to be at all possible, we would need someone willing to help transport. Tracy (adopter) is willing to help, too. This boy is 15 years old, neutered.

Do you realize that is DAYS of travel? I would think the better bet would be to fly him there.

I agree that flying is a better option - but would it be risky to fly him at 15 years old?

Maybe the hope was that people were traveling for the holidays, so that would be a feasible option.

Yes, I realize its days of traveling....thats what we are figuring out at the moment.
Considering MN to CA is a VERY long trip, would flying or drivig be better, considering the dog
is *15* and would they fly the dog around this time?? :dk WHO would fly this dog?
Is it SAFE for the dog .... all things were are trying to decide at the moment & we have to talk
with tracy to figure out if she is OK with flying.

Usually the airlines require the temps at both the departing and arriving cities be between 80 and 40 degrees to ship an animal. We are not at 40 degrees here and won't be for months. I don't think flying is an option today. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for trying to coordinate this Em.

The airlines we are looking at have temp controlled cargo.

Has this been accomplished? It is now June. I can provide a ride to Dallas TX from CA either San Diego area, or LA, or SAC in the next few days.
