Most days 7-10 beautiful cockers are coming into Southern LA shelters, all high kill. I know every rescue is dealing with the same issue. I do a blog for camp cocker to showcase these dogs, they need a voice too. If you can share the blog link with people who might be interested in a dog and live in the area, I would appreciate it.
It is updated every night.

First, I want to say thank you for all you do. I've not seen your blog before, so I will check and send on to others.

Thank you MJ, I am thinking the more people who see this blog, the more the cockers have a chance of getting out of these shelters, at least I hope so.

Doreen, I wish I could wish really hard and all these babies would have homes. There are three cockers sitting in my town but I cannot take on another foster and they are in line to be PTS. It breaks my heart that I cannot do more. All are turn-ins and look beautiful to me. One was turned in for "being too active". Get a snail, darn it! Poor baby did nothing but want some attention and love. Rescues are full and foster homes are harder and harder to come by.

It is hearbreaking, esp since everyone is full and foster and adoption applications are down, most days it feels hopeless. It is extremely hard to do this blog, knowing that we cannot save any right now but my hopes are that someone will see it and go to the shelter! We did have someone via facebook send a note saying they saw the blog and went and adopted a cocker!!! :Clap
