Before our crash we had an outline of how to post dogs in this section.

Cockers Available for Adoption, and Cockers in Immediate Need should look pretty similar to this for all sections:

State: City: Dog Name - ID # - Age, Sex (including if S/N) - /color/identifying info - the rescue name if they are with a rescue

Examples for Cocker in Immediate Needs:

CA: Carson: Penny - A345678 - 3yo Buff S/F (spayed female) BLIND - SHELTER
CA: Downey: Petey - A123456 - 8yo Black M - CRAIGSLIST

Examples for Cockers Available for Adoption:

OH: Mentor: Princess - R/W 3yo S/F - CHERISHED COCKERS
CA: Sherman Oaks: Parker - 1yo B/W Tri - N/M (neutered male) - CAMP COCKER

Please put where the dog is. (ie: Craigslist, Shelter, Private Rehome Rescue etc.) for both Immediate Needs and Adoption.

If you are posting a Cocker in Immediate needs, please try to put as much information as possible.

If you are getting dogs through emails, and their shelter is listed (or enough info is given that you can figure out their shelter), please add their shelter/petfinder/petharbor/adoptapet page to your post if it is available. This makes it easier for someone looking for a Cocker to just go straight to their page, and it makes the mods job easier, that we don't have to search for every dogs page ourselves to see if the dog is still available.

Please list one dog per posting unless the dogs are listed together, or were obviously brought in together (consecutive intake numbers). Having multiple dogs listed on the same post gets confusing, especially when the dogs get adopted, or go to different rescues.

Dani,

Are you going to repost the "back door" phone numbers for the city and county shelters that you and I had posted before the crash?

Thanks,
Casey
