Hi,

We want to be able to trim the kiddos up between their professional groomings every 6-8 weeks. We mostly keep them shaved all the day down in the summer and then let them grow to about an inch in the winter. What clippers would you recommend for this? I mostly want to be able to keep their faces trimmed in between the groomer coming, but would also like to be able to cut them myself if need be.

I have six puppers, three are the thin, straight haired type, and three are wooly beasts with thick thick curls. I would need a clipper that can handle both the thin coated ones and the wooly beasts LOL

Since I got the cordless Wahl Bravura a couple of months ago, I use that one exclusively. I also have an Andis AGC 2, but I really think I'll end up selling it because I like the Wahl so much better. It is quiet, cordless, and I use it to give Gromit a full groom and the battery never seems to slow down! When I bought it, they were offering a free box of metal combs attachments, which work really well with the clippers. I highly recommend it.

I second that. With the stainless steel combs it it a great all over clipper.
