I currently have the opportunity to buy a like new stand dryer. It was only used 3-4 times because the person's dog passed away. It is an Oster and they are asking $150.00 for it.

First question I have is the Oster a good stand dryer and 2nd is this a good price? Thanks for any input you may have! I need to decide by this weekend if I want to buy it.

I was able to find a good deal on an oster stand dryer on kijiji and paid $150 for it but new they are still over the $500 price. The one I have was used by the former owners of two afghans that have sense passed away and the dryer even though it is about 5 years old is still in great working condition and parts can still be gotten for it if need be. I contacted Oster and they still have the manual on the dryer and carry parts if needed.

Yes, and yes. It's quiet, the stand isn't huge, it's light weight and it doesn't need any cooling down for the heating element or anything. If you don't buy it can I? :lol

Thanks for your replies! I have received conflicting replies but I think I am going to buy it. I am hoping to go get it this weekend :)
