Greetings. This is my first time posting. I have a 4 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy and I'm looking for a groomer on the North Shore of Massachusetts. How would I go about finding some one who specializes in Cocker Spaniels grooming? So far I have tried googling everything but with no luck.

Congrats on the puppy. 2 options come to mind. 1) google the Cocker Spaniel Club of MA and ask them if they have a referral. 2) Cocker Spaniel Rescue of New England (CSRNE) has a facebook page. You could join and ask there. I'm pretty sure there are north shore adopters there. I know there are several in S. NH as well depending on how 'North' you are.

Hi! I live on the North Shore too. I have tried two different groomers for my 11 month old Sperry and like the second better than the first -- Kissable Paws in Salem, MA. Kathy did a great job with our boy. I was very specific with my instructions because I wanted his cut short for the summer (we are on the sailboat and doing hikes) but didn't want him to look shaved. I was really pleased. We will transition him to the more traditional Cocker cut for the Fall.

Hi,
It can be really helpful to take the groomer a picture of the haircut you want for your pup. Pictures help to eliminate any grooming and haircut misunderstandings.

Good luck!
