If the forum clock doesn't show the right time...

It's up to each individual user to set the clock within the forum software so that it displays correctly for you. The forum's clock doesn't run off your computer's clock... it's independent just like a wall clock in your house. So, when you join the forum you have to tell the forum software what time zone you are in... and each Spring and Fall when daylight savings time goes in and out of effect, you have to adjust the forum clock.

Sorry... I know you would expect that the forum software would be smart enough to know when to turn daylight savings time on and off... but the software was written for a worldwide audience, and in many parts of the world they do not use daylight savings time.

So, each Spring and Fall you need to go in to the User Control Panel and turn the daylight savings time feature on or off. At this time of the year, the DST setting in the user control panel should be set to OFF. In the Spring, you'll need to go back again and turn it ON.

You can check to see if the forum is displaying the time correctly by going to the main page of the forum and scrolling down to the bottom of the page. The current time (according to the forum) is displayed down there.
