I been having a bad week as HOLLY is not doing well. As you all know she has been slowing a lot lately. Yesterday when i got home i found her lying down covered in fesces and kind of slow responding. I cleaned her and bathe her and while she was lying down in the towel she pee again. I made the mistake of not taking her out before the bath. Last night she was restless and me too. Today she start acting like herself again so i left her again in the kitchen with all her stuff, even a pillow that if she lies on it is easier to get upmas she has been having issues getting up. Today the same story but only pee. She was alert when i got home and went out and did her thing. My guess isntwo things a seizure or she is having problems gettting up to go to the puppy pads. My neighbormstopped by to asked me about her as yesterday we talked about our dogs and his is alsomdoing weird things and also to let me know that she spend the whole day barking and whinning. This is strange as she dont bark as she cant hear well. She does howls just minutes before i get home, so today was different. I am crying as i write this as i know the time willmcome to make a decision to let her go. I know it will be sooner than later. Please pray for Holly for health and for me to have the strength to help her and do whatever is necessary on her behalf. Sorry for the long post.

I'll surely pray for her comfort and your strength and peace of mind. When those we love - human or animal - start to fail, it causes such emotional pain. As hard as it is please know that when we travel that road with those we love we truly walk on sacred ground.

We just went through this in Oct..We didn't know he was having seizures--mini ones--and losing bladder control, until it happened in front of us.

I hate reading this. I know how much you love Holly and how concerned you've been in the recent weeks. I will remember you and Holly and in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes, I have to agree with Debbie. I too have been watching and each time Holly has one step forward, we rejoice. When there are steps backward we are sad for you and Holly. The only words of wisdom that I would have for you, at this time, is that Holly will let you know when it is her time.

I know this because Moonbeam gave us her word and we listened. It did take a few days for us to completely get the message, but we could no longer ignore her words. You will also know.

Wishing all the best for you and your Holly. I know that you will keep her safe and happy as long as you feel that she is eating and having a good quality of life.

May, I am so sorry that things are not good right now. Sending you a big hug and lots of prayers.

Thanks everyone of you for your thoughts, support, possitive energy and prayers. We can use them and some more. Holly is doing a little better, she still eats well. She has been having issues getting up from lying on her side position which is the position she likes best. I am keeping an eye on her, her breathing is a little better. I am now rearranging my schedule to be able to come home at lunch to take her out and monitor her so she is not alone so many hours at a time. Thanks again, i will keep you posted.
