For each of us that have fears or needs....for each of us that have unspoken gratitude....for each of us who suffer through holidays experiencing lonliness or regrets or loss....for each of us that "over-indulge" with either something to fill the hole or by over-spending....and for all of us that forget where to look for our comfort and love. May this season remind us of all we were given and continue to receive even when we don't see it.
The holidays are hard for some, and I think many tend to either forget, or ignore that. I echo everything Vickie said, and thank you, Vickie, for reminding us... :hp

The power of prayer is awesome and tangible !!!!
"I thank God for you always"
I am on my knees for those who have illnesses may you find solutions and health.
For those who have loved ones away at war, may God protect and guide them , and give your heart peace.
For those who are troubled with finances, may God guide you into prosperity.
For those who have a troubled heart, may God show His wonderful love.
For all of the furbabies , let them have warm loving families.
For all of you, may you experence the love of this wonderful Christmas season.

For the woman I do not know that I saw coming out of the pet emergency vet's office crying. I do not know her, I do not know her story and yet I am pretty sure I know her pain. It was seven years last Wednesday I lost my Coriander. I came home from that same hospital and turned off my Christmas lights. I hope the woman I saw can feel peace and will have memories....she looked so distraught.

A friend gave me a copy of this poem a few years ago. I keep it on my desk to see every AM:

On Waking

I give thanks for arriving
Safely in a new dawn.
For the gift of eyes
To see the world.
The gift of mind
To feel at home
In my life.
The waves of possibility
Breaking on the shores of dawn.
The harvest of the past
That awaits my hunger
And all the furtherings
This new day will bring.

-John O'Donohue

On this Christmas Eve may God bless each of us with the joys of love and health and happiness. May we live lives that are a credit to us and to those that know us. May those of us so blessed be aware of it.

May we remember those that have less and suffer more. And - please God - may there be peace.
