Did we have members there? Explosions at the finish line. They don't know what happened but lots of injuries.

I grew up 20 minutes from Boston, and although I live in NH, I will always paak my caar in Baawston, and eat chowda. This was just so awful. News tonight is reporting that an arrest is pending, thanks to survellience cameras.

When will this stupidity end.

It's been pretty crazy in the city but despite all of it.. The bruins played and people went to have a good time.. Prayers to those we lost and those who are seriously injured.. Wishing them a speedy recovery..

:cry

Kevin and I were planted right here at home in California. But, Kevin's Brother Bob and his Wife Sandy were there! :OMY

We are very fortunate that Bob is a good runner and had finished the race about one half hour before the blasts. Sandy could have also been involved as she always waits for Bob at the finish line. We have not talked to either of them, but Kevin's Dad told him that Bob and Sandy were walking back to their hotel when they heard the bombs go off. Then I read on Facebook that they hunkered down in their hotel room glued to the TV.

When the dust settled in my mind, I realized that we could have lost Bob and Sandy to a terror attack! :OMY I hold them very close to my heart. They are the best and (other than Kevin's Dad) are my favorites.... :hp

Dawn

Sending my prayers for all those that were lost, injured or family of same. :hp

Dawn, I'm glad they are ok.

There is a young intern in my office who's brother was in the marathon, had finished and was waiting in line at the tent for a masage, but the line was too long, so he left when the first bomb exploded. He was so terrified that, after running 20+ miles, he took off running back to his hotel.
