So do I! I'm in Las Vegas on a business conference, and this morning I had two phone messages from my husband, 5 minutes apart, asking me where I am and saying something's going on and to call him. So I call him and he tells me he woke up and had no idea where I was, he was feeling very confused. After talking to him for a few minutes he realized he had gotten up made coffee read the paper and walked the dog, but has no memory of it! He also said he was having tingling in his right hand. I told him to go to the ER, and he's there now. I booked an earlier flight home, but I won't be home until close to midnight tonite. I'm so worried. I am so fortunate, I married one of the good ones, and I love him so much

Oh my, do you have family or a friend who can go and be with your husband until you get there?
I am so glad your husband went to the ER immediately, he is in the best place possible right now.
Thinking of you, sending prayers and positive thoughts for you both.

Praying all is alright. Sounds like it might have been a mild stroke. Let us know how he's doing. Prayers for you too for calm and peace.

It sounds a lot like a TIA (transischemil attack). I'm praying that he'll be we'll and they'll get a handle on the trigger.

Darra: I hope everything is ok - and glad you were able to come back home and be with him. What a frightening experience for both of you.

Thanks everyone for your prayers! Ron went to the ER, and they did a cat scan, blood work, urine, heart, and could find nothing wrong. I called our daughter while I was at the airport, and she immediately went to the ER to be with him. He was discharged a few hours later. He still cannot remember much of what happened yesterday morning, and said he just feels "off", almost like a hangover. He'll be following up with his doctor tomorrow. It's such a helpless feeling to be so far away when something happens. I didn't get home until after midnight last night.

He had an incident many years ago where he fainted in the shower, and after 4 days worth of tests in the hospital they finally decided that the hot water made his blood to rush to his extremities and caused him to faint-syncope it was called. Whatever happened yesterday appears to have happened around the time of his shower, so although he doesn't remember fainting I still wonder if that's what happened and he hit his head, causing the memory loss. He has no bumps or bruises though, so the mystery continues.

Good to hear that he is ok and all tests were normal. You must be exhausted!

Darra, my sister have a very similiar experience. Her results were the same as your hubby. Her's was from stress....she had so much going on her in life with a rush move and to add to it her best friend and our nephew (28 yrs old) died. Let's all hope that this is the situation with your dear hubby as it sounds like it could be.

How scary Darra.... glad you were able to get home safely. Glad there seems to be nothing wrong but how frustrating that you don't have any answers as to why this happened! Praying that your DH continues to do well.

This is very scary . . . . especially that they can't find anything. Prayers for you and your husband.
