Long story short, my good friend has come upon very hard times. It has come to the point where she will be losing her home and most everything that goes with it, including her 5 cocker spaniels. This is incredibly upsetting to me and, obviously, extremely difficult on her.

She is about 2 hours away. Another friend and I will be going to her house this weekend to pick up two of the girls to find homes for them. Of course, if I had known this was coming, I would not have just gotten Ethan. This makes me feel horrible because she has always said that if something happens to her, her family has been advised that her dog Tweed would come to me. I just adore this girl and would love to be able take her for my friend, but the timing is just not right. If I had only known this was coming

She is incredibly grateful that we are taking the girls for her. However, I am already dreading how difficult it will be to take her dogs and wave goodbye. I have been in tears for days. Most importantly, please pray for my friend and that times turn around for her and her life comes back together. She has taught me so much about cocker spaniels and is deeply tied to my love for these dogs.

I would also appreciate prayers for strength for me to handle this overwhelmingly difficult task. Thanks so much.

Jackie, I'm so sorry that your friend is going through such trying times, and too loose so much. I will keep you and your friend in my prayers. God never gives us more than we can handle.

my prays are with you and your friend.... yes and you know God will never put more on you then you could handle, just pray over it and put it in the Lords hands and let him handle the rest...

That is such a terrible situation for anyone to be in. Hugs to you, your friend, and the poor pups who will be so confused. I hope they all find loving homes.

Prayers for you and for your friend . . . I can't even fathom how devastating this must be for her . . . she's had a lot of loss in the last couple of years. How awful.

How very sad for both your friend, yourself and her dogs. I can only imagine how devastated she must be, but to have friends like you that are helping her through this, is so very inspiring. You all have my prayers and well wishes.
