Poor Cade was screaming at the computer screen the other night when he thought strangers were stealing the puppys!!!!!! then he realized that Jim knew them :lol

OK all keep on posting the PM's!!!! you have no idea how you get me through the day sometimes!
Love and hugs to you all :hp

I have a liturgy meeting at Church tonight so I'm running out (and I might add in a violent storm with high winds and rain - am I dedicated or stupid?....Stephen I wasn't asking YOU! :lol2 ). At any rate since I won't be here later to say goodnight I figured I'd do it now.

Rest well everyone....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmRH8PR6f4k

I had a rough day today. I won't talk to much about it.
I was extremely let down, and I feel like that person isn't there when
I need them but always seems to be when I don't. Which i'm not
sure if thats a bad thing or a good thing. I cried for over a good hour
today : I guess not everyday is my day. I really need help this time,
and they promised to help me, and didn't follow through. Its NBD
& I'll figure it out, but it hurt my feelings very bad. especially coming
from someone so close.

It started off a pretty good day : finding out I made a 96 & 93 (both A+)
in World History on my tests that I thought I did OK on. The 96 I took
when I had missed 2 days of that class, (its like missing 4 days of middle school)
and I got a 65 (F) on and I was SO upset, its not normal for me. So, I went
and studied at home for the weekend and came back on Monday & aced the re-take
the only part I left out was not knowing 1 stem which took 4 points off. But
I DO know the stem, I just forgot it at the time. Then the 93 I did the
same thing, with a different stem and then a question about Hinduism.
But i know them both too, now.

That was the highlight of my day : the rest was horrible. Sounds dramatic, but its true.

I do like to hear everyone help having a great night. :hp :hp
I put together a video of Rudy for his 1st birthday in 3 weeks
I'll share it on his birthday

Nighty Night All !!!!

I am having a busy day…not with the right type of business..but busy none the less.

Em….hang in there sweetie…it is tough depending on people….

Still not done with the kitchen but we are close.
Doves were not around this morning (all grown up don’t ya know) but came for a visit this afternoon. Rog said they are flying really good !!! Yeah !!!!

Dee and Darla are just silly pups !!! Darla is now starting to say hello !!! My Sweet Miss Tess used to tal(and new exactly what she was saying)…so for Darla to talk is sooo exciting. She actually knows what it means…so she will walk in and say helllloooo. My cousins husband heard her on Sunday and said “well that couldn’t be any plainer!”
Dee, well she runs the show !!! she keeps everyone organized. She does squeak back at her toys…A good ball game makes her happy. Rog sits in a chair in the back with Darla in his lap and throws the ball for Dee. Every once in awhile Darla gets down and catches one and takes a victory lap around the yard and then back in Rogers lap.
They both are so much fun !!!!These are a couple of pictures with them sporting their doggles.
And in honor of that..here is my song

Sweet Dreams All !!!!

Yup, I know what you mean...

Last night I was getting ready to post my Gn FF and the internet went down. It seems Comcast was doing maintainence. How dare they!!! :mad

Dawn, sounds like you had quite an adventure yesterday!! I truly hate going to the DMV, and you are very brave to have taken that on!! Of course, if one had the right directions and information, :OMY it would have been helpful! :goof Sounds like something I would do. :tg

Em, I am sorry that you had a bad day with someone that you depend on and needed. I know how that feels, to be let down, and it is hurtful. You hang in there, and just know that you will have people in your life that will be three for you no matter what. You are a very wise and special and I will keep you in my thoughts for a better day tomorrow. Good news on the tests!!!

Kim what great news about Wilson!! You must be so happy!!!

Marsha what wonderful pictures of your little dove babies, and your sweet cocker babies and you and your hubby! Dee and Darla (love the names!) are sooo cute with their doggles on!!

Vickie I hope you are alright. On the news here in CA they said there was terrible weather in your area around NY City. I hope you are safe.

Kitri you must be so excited about Molly. It won't be long now!!!

Martha, don't know how you manage with those long hours, and so much work in LA, and very little sleep, and then no time to rest before you had to get right back to work. Your boss should have at least given you a day to rest up!! I hope you are able to catch up a bit somehow on your rest. I am glad that you had such a great time with your family, and meeting your brother. That is really cool!!

Dawn, I hope you enjoyed your day at work with Noel! What a nice way to end the work week!!

Peggy, good news on your schedule!! ANd hope you got all your sorting done and what a wonderful way to start the day with that goal!! Awesome!!

Stephen, hope you and the Spaniels are having a wonderful evening!

Rosie, good night and a wonderful day is wished for you tomorrow!

Carol, great songs, and I hope your friend is doing good!

Today was a nice day here, beautiful really! I need to repost under introduce yourself and do my avatar, but am waiting until Ginger has her bath and trim on Saturday to take some new pictures. She looks like a wookie now!! She REALLY has the fur!!!

Well, GFF and I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow!! ( I see I have written a novel here I write like I talk ...a lot!!! I am a gemini, we are blessed with the gift of gab!)

Wow, you Guy and Gals have been busy here! I did not get any email notices, so I thought that there were no posts. Boy Oh Boy! :happy

Well, today I kept my feet planted firmly at home! But, tomorrow we pick our RV up from the Body Shop. :joy Kevin is, thankfully, taking the afternoon off, so I won’t have to take a cab over there, inspect the RV for flaws or drive it back to storage by myself. The biggest part is that Mr. Eagle Eye can do the “inspection” himself and I won’t have to hear about it later! :chk The best part is that we will have the RV in time to go to the Pupapalooza and have a v.a.c.a.t.i.o.n.! :YAY

I worked on my “camping to do list”. I had 7 pages set up on the computer, (large print so I can read while we are driving). Information on addresses, driving instructions and places to stop if Kevin get’s tired while driving. And, I hit the wrong button on my computer. I deleted the whole kit and caboodle! :evil Luckily, I had just hit the print button, so all is not entirely lost. :goof

Hey Em, did it snow yet? :gig

Peggy, I post my “stuff” in word and copy to the forum. :wink I have lost too many posts the other way. Sounds like you are so organized for your moving sale. Good luck for a humongous out come! :bg Considering my background, one would think that I would have had a better way of dealing with DMV. I worked for 30 years registering vehicles at car dealerships. But, now I have lost all my connections and am just a plain old "Jane". I needed a document that I can not get on line and needed it in a hurry so I could not make an appointment. But, per my past experience, it never hurts to be really, really nice to the DMV clerks. You are usually returned in kind. :wk

Kim, Isn’t it amazing what a lot of love and devotion can do? Good guy Wilson. :hp Mommy loves you and you are learning to know it. I would like to hear his story sometime. I don’t believe I have seen it. In the past few days, I have not read the forum, just been too much to get ready for our trip.

Carol, Two beautiful songs with beautiful sentiment’s. Hope that I did not miss something about your friend? I will try to catch up soon. :roll

Stephen, You should have kept Tricia there to help fill up the house and baby sit you boys! :th-up And, Princess Freddie of course.

Dawn, Have a great evening and day tomorrow! :sun

Marsha, Now I see why you always want to go and hug your Hubby and your fir babies. All cuties! I have been trying to picture your new kitchen.

Vicky, I love your sentiment! “Have a great day tomorrow, including me” Cute! :nw How can you harvest in the snow. Did I ask what crops are you growing?

Yes, Kitri, you have to stay on your tippy toes around here. :OMY Those pups are just darling and you have to watch EVERYONE! HeHe! But, I am watching out for you. Poor Cade, puppy-nappers. I would have been screaming too! :bang I have always wanted to hear the pups. Ahhhh!

Goodnight and sweet dreams,
Dawn :paw

Ladies, my nephew in the Marines in Japan is just realizing his father is moving back in with his first wife. Many issues to deal with with such a young lad.

Goodnight... :smch

b]Nighty Night All !!!!

This is a six day work week and I am on day five ! Only one more to go !!!!

I can’t resist sending a couple of more pics of my doves just before they took off. They were not seen today so I guess they are grown up…miss them…but it is a small relief knowing that they now have a good chance to survive!.

My girls are doing good. Dee got a new soccer ball so she is learning to play with it. Sent the one pic of her as it also shows her nubbie. Darla did a pretty pose for us…dontcha want to kiss that nose???

Stephen, I saw the video you posted of Freddie…which led to watching all of the other videos (the things I do at 5:00 AM) OMG..I am surprised we didn’t find her out here…next time Tricia we will send help…Your trio…they are priceless.

Dawn…you will probably be disappointed in my kitchen. The reason it has taken sooooo long is the major screw ups. It wasn’t planned and could not have come at a worse time..but..we did what we could and upgraded ever so little…I will do a before and after when it is FINALLY finished !!!! Still no cooktop…who knows Christmas ?????

Em…wishing and hoping you have had a day full of love and lots and lots of laughs.

Rosie..{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

Wish I had the time to run down the line and say something special to all…just know the thoughts and the prayers (always the prayers) are there for you all. One day.

Hey Everyone!! :wv

Had a great day off. Didn't get out of my jammies until noon! I can't remember the last time I did that! Got all of my shopping done and cleaned up the house. Now all thats left is laundry.
My Kindle came in the mail today and I can't wait to download my first book!
So Kandyce ended up getting me my first tattoo for my birthday too! I've been wanting a paw on my wrist ever since Chloe died last year. So I did it tonite!! OH MY GOD! I never knew something could hurt soooo much! :cry I almost ended up with only half a paw but thank the lord my wrist finally went numb. :gig I even got the shading done inside of the paw with her coat color. I love it! I think it'll look awesome once the swelling and stuff goes down.

Em - I sure hope your day went better today! And I'm so glad Henry is doing good! :paw

Marsha - the doves are beautiful but the doggle pics are just freakin adorable!!! I just laughed out loud when I saw those. Those are 2 cool cockers! :sun

Vickie - I hope you had a safe trip to church and I say it means you're dedicated! :nw

Dawn - did you finally get your RV?? :wk

Martha - busy time for you. Catch up on your rest this weekend! It was a great show. Especially Eminem & Linkin Park. :tg

Well goodnight everyone!! Sweet dreams to all :paw

I didn't have the best day today. I have a nasty cold and it has made my disease much more painful today. This may sound crazy - I lost my very best friend Michelle to cancer in 1991. we are planning our 20 year high school reunion and it makes me very sad to know that she won't be there with us to celebrate - I know she will be watching down on us, but it won't be the same without her there. I have shed many tears today :cry I am just really missing her terribly and it hasn't helped that I have been feeling really nauseated and in tons of pain tonight. sorry to sound so down, but that is just the kind of day I am having :sad

Em - I hope that you had a better day at school today.

Vickie - hope you have a safe trip to church too.

Dawn - I :hp your tattoo

Good night to you all and sweet dreams :hi

Hi everyone.

I'm gaining on my project. Hopefully I'll be ready to share with everyone, soon!

Kathryn, that doesn't sound crazy at all. Any anniversary date, or something like your class reunion, will bring up all kinds of memories and emotions. Sometimes people don't even realize what's causing the feelings. Feeling so bad physically sure doesn't help that, either. I hope you feel better tomorrow. :hp

Marsha, your dove pictures are great! We have quite a few of them around here. A couple of years ago I was feeding the birds out on the sidewalk and had names for the doves and their families that stopped by every evening.

Harley's Dawn, I think that's the most beautiful tattoo I've ever seen! Your Chloe was a very beautiful girl! :wow

Stephen, prayers for your nephew. Love your new avatar - and Tricia's, too! :ROFL

Dawn, glad Kevin is going with to get your RV. Some things it's just better if they can check out themselves!

Jan, isn't it frustrating when the internet goes down like that. Mine is coming in wireless from next door and is weather related to a certain extent. Some days it just flickers in and out. I feel for you, but am glad it's back! :Clap

Em, I hope things are going well for you, now. :love

Vickie, did I miss you? (((hugs to you)))

I know I'm missing people, and I'm sorry. The thinking part of my brain just turned to mush, so I'm pretty much done for the day. Take care everyone, and have a wonderful weekend!

Goodnight! Love those puppers! :hp

There's a thunderstorm rumbling in the not so far distance. Think it's time to bury my head under a pillow!

Good Morning, Friends -

My laptop didn't come home when expected - but the good news is we've upgraded it to Windows7 so it stayed with the Geek Squad for installation. Don has picked it up and it's waiting in OC for me to trek up for it. I can't wait! My desktop doesn't read the RAW files that I use for my photography.

I am grateful for this thread as well as to have this day in my life. My personal goal is to sell as much as possible in The Sale and donate the rest. I have asked my Higher Power and Spirit Guides to allow me to recognize any opportunities to help another person today to feel better about something in their life. In the meantime, I'll attempt to spread smiles and good feelings within my circle of influence!

Have a great day Forum Friends!

No snow, Yet! :lol2

I continue to wish it would here, but its just too warm.

I like waking up to a Winter Wonderland. Lets hope for one again this year.
Image

Yesterday was a early-release at school, and there was ALL this drama on out bus. It was like 3 or 4 people to a SEAT, and people were yelling and were like "GET OFF THE BUS!" I was laughing, until my step-brother who is 1 year older than me, had to make his friend get off that was coming home with him, everyone who didn't ride the bus originally, couldn't ride. Then I came home and did SOME homework...then later last night I had one of my friends sleep over, and we watched a movie then we started a fire in our chiminea. We roasted marshmellows
and made Smores with my dad& her until midnight, we talked and laughed the entire time. Then we came back in & went to my room and fell asleep. It was pretty fun.

Tomorrow I have church again and I'm working, and going to service.

This is more of a "Good Afternoon"
:hi

I know I will get this Math (and now Spanish, which i've NEVER had a problem with I came home freaking out) figured out, too.

SEASON PREMIERE GLEE TUESDAY NIGHT!! Its 3rd Season!! :joy

hello all... popping in to say good night early as i am going out with some friends to celebrate a new beginning for me. you see... i was laid off on thursday. after all that hard work i put in in LA and the long hours, i was called into a meeting on thursday morning and was told that my role is no longer needed with where they are wanting to go with the department. i don't believe that because my role was the one that serviced all the shows and without my role the other aspects of the business can't happen. i know it was more of a personal reason but they can't say that because then they can get in trouble. i was always the one who didn't agree with what they said when i thought something wasn't going to work out and they didn't like that.
so i have 5 months severance pay and will be looking for a new job starting in a couple of weeks. going to go out to my sister for a couple of weeks and clear my head and regroup my thoughts and then come back with a new way of thinking. it will be very hard after working there for 10 years but i know that better things are out there for me. i know i will be good but what bothers me most if my staff that i leave behind. i know that i looked out for them and didn't let anyone talk to them in a bad way or in a degrating way... now that i'm gone i feel like the higher ups or whoever will treat them badly or try and get them to do things that is not part of their jobs and then not get compensated for it. that's what always happens and i was always there to stop it. i guess it's time for me to let them go and let them fend for themselves. it's like a mama bear and her cubs.

anyway - thanks for listening to me. please say a little prayer for me that all will be ok in my future. i appreciate all of you guys more than i can possibly say.

:hp

Martha

Oh Martha, thats not fair. :cry You worked so hard! I'm so sorry, like extremely!!
I do love all the pictures you put on facebook though. I know you will
find a new job, and it will be worth it.

I hope you all have a great night. I was watching a scary movie, but it went off.

Hope you guys don't mind me joining this thread. Martha, you are in my thoughts that something good will come your way. Sometimes a door closes and a better opportunity comes your way.

Kathryn, gentle hugs for you. I know your friend is looking down and sending her love to you. Remember she will live on in your heart and memories of your wonderful times with her.

Martha so sorry that had to happen. Hopefully a much better door will open.
Dawn Love the tattoo. It is great!
Em I wish I shared your joy for snow. I hate too much digging my car out of the driveway.

I had a fairly uneventful day myself. Our house seems to have colds, so not a lot went on. I did finalize our spot for vacation next June. We are going to Colonial Beach, VA. I love the water and it is only a 10 hour drive. The house we are going to rent has a backyard right to the river/bay and its own little private beach. I have never been there. I just started googling and that is where I landed.

I groomed Artemis (my Shih Tzu) tonight. It was a disaster. Her face looks like she had polio and she jerked her foot and I cut her nail too close. We had quite a nasty bloody mess. She is fine and does not appear to be in any pain. It just makes you feel like total crap when you hurt them. Tomorrow I will fix her crooked face. I did not want to torture her any more after the toenail.

Lexi seems to be doing really well with her heart worm treatment. We are on day 5. Her breathing seems to be better. I cant wait until a month is up so this little girl can go out in the yard and let off some steam. She is taking her cabin fever out on poor Molly.

Heres to a brighter, healthier day tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't been here to wish you my goodnights OR any good mornings. The last couple of days have been insanely busy and wonderful. I had several Intakes at work yesterday then had to get to Church and write up a service for a meeting this morning. Then today I went from a Church meeting from 8:30 till noon, to choir rehearsel at 1:30 PM to a friend's celebration of her 50th Jubilee (50 years as a nun). I just got home. I am so tired but so very, very uplifted. So - I'll give you fair warning - tonight's offering from me is a song of praise. If you are not "into" music of that sort please feel free to skip it. However - when a heart is so filled with joy and love for a friend - sometimes praise is all I can give -

Nighty Night All !!!!

Just when I think..geez..can't handle a thing more ...I see posts and I think I gotta help !!!!! It's a mission....
Martha .. when I saw pictures of you and so much love pouring out of you I couldn't put it with MTV (sorry..I just couldn't) But I have a few friends that are in the industry and ..well it all concerns me..soooo...sometimes I think we are moved to where we bless...you cared for your coworkers..but...now it might be the time (well duh) to move on to where you will bless others and be blessed in the process. My Mom used to think it took quakes to move me where I belonged...but when it did happen...well..it always was so much better. I start my prayers in the morning with let me be where I can bless (help) others and in turn I am blessed (with so much love). I know there is a place for you and it will be GOOD !!!!
Kathryn, I have got you in my prayers. I have some thoughts...but don't feel free enough to say..but do know you are the Loved of Love.
To everyone else...time is short tonight !! I did get a cooktop today ..... wooooo whooo !!! but too damn tired to cook !!! will let you know tomorrow what is brewed up !!!!
I hear my babies downstairs..and I've got a wonderful guy to go hug...so off I go..
I do believe that angels are Gods thoughts passing to man...so here is my song for the night

Oh no Martha. I am so sorry to hear this. You are such a hard worker, and I know you didn't deserve this. Big corporations. I unfortunatley worked for one, and it was pure hell the way they did things to people there. I will keep you in my thoughts that you will find a job where they will appreciate you for the wonderful person and worker you are. Enjoy your time at your sisters and relax and rest.

Donna I am glad to hear that Lexi is doing better. That is great news. It will be wonderful when she can go outside and let off that steam. I am sure Artemis will be fine tomorrow. I know the feeling of feelng like crap when something like that hapens, and most of the time they are feeling fine in no time, and we are feeling crappy still!!!

Marsha I am glad you got your cooktop!! That is great!!

Deborah, welcome on in! This thread is for anyone that wants to join in!!

Dawn, I am laughing at the "2 stooges" You are funny. I am sure you will get "the Big Baby" all ready and all will be fine, and you will be on the road for a wonderful time at the looza.

VIckie, that song was VERY upifting! Thank you for sharing it!!

Well, they say we are in for a bit of rain early into late morning. Kind of early for that here, but I will take it over snow in September. Em that picture made me cold to look at it!!

Goodnight FF (forum friends) Have a wonderful day tomorrow!!! it is FOOTBALL day!!! But the big game is Monday night ..my 49ers and the Saints. Nothing like your first home game being against the super bowl champs. AND they are retiring Jerry Rice's number 80, at halftime. Hope they show it on tv, cuz i want to see it.

Nite everyone!!!
