My little girl is 2 years old today! She's had a busy week, with the conformation show last Saturday, the rally trial Sunday, then taking her Silver Good Citizen test last week. She passed with flying colours, so I thought for her birthday picture she should have her photo with her certificate and rosette. She had to wait while I walked 10 paces away and remain steady, then be recalled, and she had to walk past Jane eating lemon cake (quite hard for me too, that one!) walk nicely on the lead along the pavement and cross the road under control, come away from a distracting group of people and dogs, stay in one place for 2 minutes, allow a stranger to check her thoroughly all over, and I had to answer a bunch of dog care questions too. Hetty was a very good girl! And she much enjoyed her birthday liver cake tonight, even if I did let the other dogs have a piece each too!
