Can we have a moment of silence...... :hp :hp :hp :hp

2,997 people died. 411 people risked their lives to save others. At least 200 people jumped or fell to their deaths. 2 beautiful buildings destroyed. 246 people got on a airplane and never got to see home again. 2,997 innocent people left their homes one day and never got to see their families again.
REPOST this in honor to everyone that lost their life on 9/11

My son was in the World Trade Center that day. You cannot imagine what goes through your head and heart and gut when you see those pictures as you try and get your child on a cell phone. The almost 48 minutes I tried to reach him before he reached me and I heard his voice on a line filled with static were interminable and the 12+ hours it took for him to get home so I could hold him were hellish. Every year I thank God he was spared and I cry for those families that were not as lucky.

A moment of silence for all the lives lost in this day 10 years ago, also for a friend who died this same day last year. Her life was a constant devotion to joy and help others. She was the best mother and friend.
Happy Birthday to your dad EM, also to mi sister's niece Nicole who once wrote to President Bush regarding the somber of this day stating that she will remembered the people that lost their lives but she will also celebrate her birthday. Happy Birthday to my cousin Emilio and to what once was the birthday of my decease brother in law Braulio.
This is also a day to celebrate been an American and a day of service and volunteering.

"I am proud to be an Americann" and as my tag reads "In God we trust"
